Black History Month: Play It Forward

Join us for an evening of music dance and drama as we celebrate Black
History, showcasing our talented young people and their developing
careers, featuring current students and recent graduates of University
of Western Ontario. Young people from the Black community aspire to
careers beyond the familiar or traditional ones of their parents'
generation. This program will present examples of the new career
choices through dramatization, performances that will entertain as well
as inform.Performers include Janis Mark and Marque Smith.7pm, free

"The brain child of an indie arts collective from guelph, ont, Le Cyc is an 80-minute rock-opera-cum-graphic novel" that tells the story of a distopian bike-powered future. The performance brings together 380 paintings projected as slides alongside a seven piece band to narrate the story"

Thugs at Bay, or t@b for short, could be called a folk music duet. They
play original, acoustic music with guitar, fiddle and two voices. But
that's the tip of the iceberg. As a pair, Ariana Nasr and Andy Flinn
project the exuberant energy of a Caribbean septet. While Ariana sings
jazzy melodies and plays reggae fiddle, Andy beat-boxes a vocalized
bass line, plays guitar, and operates parts of a drum kit with his
