After being inspired by the previously titled Feminist Act Group (now known as FACT) I have decided to begin an action based group to help promote some much needed disability activism and awareness in London.

For now I would ask that it be for people with disabilities only.  Central Library is a pretty accessible place (I think).  I'm hoping this can be a great group for discussing issues, and creating disability awareness and action on our own.  Come on out!!!

September 21st is the International Day of Peace. In 2007 over 100 million people were active on Peace Day in 192 countries. This is truly a sign of great hope and progress.

Join us for the inspirational story of Jeremy Gilley's journey to establish September 21st as an International Day of Peace. The film will be followed by a discussion and a meditation for world peace lead by  Lorenna and Shantree Kacera from the Spirit of the Earth, The Living Centre & Living Arts Institute.  read more »

Tuesday April 22nd, will be the first tweetup in London. This will be a chance to meet in real life people you may follow through Twitter in London or area. The tweetup will start around 7:30. The event will be held at Coffee Culture on Richmond St (map) in the back area of the coffee house.
