Voting day for the 2008 Federal Election is Tuesday, October 14th (the day after Thanksgiving). Polls open at 9:00am and close at 9:00pm. Voters are expected to vote at their designated Elections Canada polling station in the riding where they are registered.
If you are not registered by Election Day, you can still vote! Just bring a piece of ID (driver's license, passport) and proof of where you live (a bill or piece of mail with your name and address on it) to your polling station on the 14th and show it to an Elections Canada official.
