Please take a moment to email or phone Minister of Immigration Diane Finley ASAP to demand that Robin not be sent back to the US, where he faces incarceration and could be sent to Iraq to fight in an illegal war.

• Please phone or email the opposition party leaders to ask them to support a political provision to allow US war resisters to stay in Canada. If the opposition parties unite, such a provision could easily be adopted.

Two US war resisters are currently waiting to hear from the Supreme Court of Canada whether they will have leave to appeal the rejection of their refugee claims. NO RESISTER SHOULD BE REMOVED FROM CANADA UNTIL THE SUPREME COURT HAS MADE ITS DECISION. A decision is expected some time in November.
